Testifying to the CT Public Health Committee

While testifying to the CT public health committee sounds and seems daunting, I’m glad that I was able to testify and feel like I was truly fighting for this project. Getting to present my own story in order to try and help thousands of people in CT was such a great experience. While I understand that some people in that room were against some of what I was asking for, I still felt heard, especially when I was asked a question and could further explain my point.
